Product Description:
Screw feeders, also referred to as screw conveyors, scraper conveyors, and bucket conveyors, consist of a feeding hopper, feeding screw, and transmission mechanism.
Working Principle:
The working principle involves using a weighing bridge to measure the weight of the conveyed material on the tape. A digital speed sensor at the tail monitors the feeder's speed, sending pulse outputs corresponding to the speed to the feeding controller. Both speed and weight signals are processed by the controller's microprocessor to calculate and display the cumulative quantity and instantaneous flow rate. The flow rate is compared to the preset rate, and the control instrument adjusts the frequency converter to modify the feeder's drive speed. This ensures the material flow rate matches the desired feed rate, achieving precise quantitative feeding.
